Q. What if I can't get to an Open Studio in the Book Arts Workshop until late

There are a few things you might be able to do in a half-hour. These are: consulting about an idea, choosing a typeface (or font) for future type setting, paper folding, using our rubber stamps, or quick steps in bookbinding (gluing a spine, sewing a pamphlet, etc.). Printing will take too long. So, if you need to print, set type, or work on an involved book, you need to come in earlier or at another time. You almost always need to allow for a half hour for clean-up (so the studio monitor can close up). No one is allowed to work in the studios without a studio monitor.
