No, the conservators in Preservation Services only work on items owned by the Dartmouth Library. If you live in the area and have something you would like repaired or rebound you may contact the Collections Conservator, Deborah Howe, at Deborah.howe@dartmouth.edu for a list of local referrals.

Or you can contact our regional conservation center, the Northeast Documentation and Conservation Center,  https://www.nedcc.org/ , located in Andover, Massachusetts.

Another way to locate a conservator is to contact the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC). Their website provides information on how to find and select a conservator.
