To find information on US inflation rates (consumer price index) use the following:
- Consumer Price Index at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. You may also find their Inflation Calculator useful.
- CountryData (PRS Group)
- Under Economic Indicators choose US and then Inflation
- Use Global Financial Data which features consumer price indices back to the 1700s. Choose the GFDatabase and use the drop-down menus to select United States > Economic > Consumer Price Indices. (Login anonymously or create your own account - read instructions)
