Open Studios are specific sessions, supervised by an instructor or student employee, when anyone can come into the Workshop and consult on a project, set type, print, or make a book, card, or other paper-based item. To work in the letterpress studio, you are required to attend one of our Letterpress Orientation sessions. For bookbinding, we strongly recommend attending one of our Bookbinding Orientation classes before attempting to make a more complex book structure, such as a hard-cover journal, large portfolio, or box. We offer a variety of both level 1 and level 2 Bookbinding Orientations, so you can increase your skills in many ways.
