Q. When should I place my reserve requests? How long will it be before the requested items are available to students?

Reserve lists may be submitted once Canvas courses are setup for the upcoming term.

Plan for a six- to eight-week ordering process for new materials. Contact your subject librarian as early as possible to order new items the library does not currently own.

Reserve staff process requests in the order in which they are received. The time it takes to process a request varies, but library staff try to make reserve materials available by the beginning of the term or as soon as possible.
