Accessing JSTOR via the Alumni Digital Library
You can find the link to JSTOR on the Alumni Services & Resources page. You will see a link to it in the Alumni Digital Library Quick Search Box. There's also a link to JSTOR on the Alumni Digital Library Search page. Please note, Dartmouth only provides access to JSTOR journal content. Dartmouth does not provide access to JSTOR books.
For your convenience, here is the link to JSTOR for Dartmouth Alumni: http://library.dartmouth.edu/tools/jstorAlum/login.pl
When you click on the JSTOR link, you'll be prompted to log in using your Net ID & Password. Then you will be connected to JSTOR and will be able to search, view, and download articles.
Accessing JSTOR directly
Please note, if you connect to JSTOR directly at http://www.jstor.org without using the link on the Alumni Services & Resources page, you'll need to authenticate your session by clicking on the login link on the JSTOR's web site. Be sure not to confuse the MyJSTOR login with the site's authentication login. The Login link appears on the upper right side of the screen by the red JSTOR logo. Once you click on the Login link, you will be offered two ways to log in. Choose the "Login via an institution" option and choose Dartmouth College. You can then enter your Net ID & password to access JSTOR journal content.
Dartmouth Net ID & password
If you are a Dartmouth Alum and do not have your Net ID or password, please consult Computing's web page on Passwords & Net IDs.
